Milton Keynes Synagogue Visit

Year 2 had a very exciting afternoon last Friday with a special visit from Mrs. Lou from Milton Keynes Synagogue. The children enjoyed learning more about Passover. They all tried some of the traditional food such as matzah, horseradish, grape juice and charoset (a sticky mixture of fruit and cinnamon). Plus they wrote some words in Hebrew. Mrs Dunckley was so impressed with their inquisitive questions and the knowledge that they have recalled from this topic.

What a fantastic World Book Day we had at St James and St John Church of England Primary School! All the children look amazing in their costumes - well done to everyone for their creativity and enthusiasm!

To make this year's celebration extra special, we invited all the children to bring in a wrapped book for a fun 'lucky dip' experience. Each child had the excitement of selecting a mystery book at the end of the day!
