Mr John Hockley, Foundation Governor
I am now retired from business, but in my working life I was responsible for the construction of a considerable number of major building projects in southeast England. Our son was a pupil at Akeley Infant School, before the merger with Chackmore to create St James and St John School. I have been a Foundation Governor of the school for nearly 24 years, and am very pleased to visit both school sites regularly in that capacity, and in support of the Headteacher and the Bursar.
