Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA)
The PTFA runs solely with the support and dedication of our volunteers and our aim is to raise much needed funds for the school to purchase items that the schools budget cannot stretch to. Throughout the year we run events for parents and children to attend, these events include…
- Christmas Market
- Summer Fayre
- Cine nights at both sites
- Family bingo night
- School disco
- Christmas story night
The committee also provides refreshments at key school events throughout the year such as the Key Stage 1 Christmas performance, Harvest festival and the Mothers day assembly.

- Mini Bus
- Wooden play equipment for both sites
- Ipads
- Picnic benches for both sites
- Levelling of the Chackmore field
- Sports equipment at both sites
- Nativity costumes
- Whole school pantomime visit
- Science and drama workshops
The committee meets roughly every 8 weeks at the Bull and Butcher pub in Akeley village and the meetings are very informal, relaxed and are great fun too. Please come and along and see what our friendly PTFA is all about.
