  • Class Dojo

    What is Class Dojo?

At St James and St John Church of England Primary School, we use ClassDojo to reward pupils, share communication, and give parents a window into their child’s school day.

We recognise how important it is for parents to feel connected to classroom life, and ClassDojo helps us do just that. It allows us to celebrate positive behaviour, share learning experiences, and strengthen the partnership between home and school.

    Dojo Points

Children are awarded Dojo points to recognise positive behaviours and attitudes, such as:

    • Brilliant work

    • Helping others

    • Showing kindness

    • Being brave and resilient

There are many opportunities for children to earn points throughout the school day. When a child reaches a certain number of Dojo points, they receive a certificate during Celebration Assembly and earn a reward.

    Examples of rewards include:

    • Bringing in a class mascot

    • Wearing their own clothes to school

    • A tea party with Mrs Woods

    • A movie afternoon (whole class reward)

    Class Page

Each class has their own 'page' where teachers can share class-related updates, reminders and photos of

    School Story

We also have a school page where we communicate big school events and share images of big events.
