    • Year 6 Manor Adventure

      Our Year 6 residential to Manor Adventure was, as always, lots of fun!

      Every November, our Year 6 class enjoy a trip to Culmington Manor Activity Centre , Shropshire.  The children enjoy exciting outdoor adventures, curriculum-linked activities, and a safe environment where they grow in confidence. From Axe throwing, bouldering, obstacle course, archery to name a few, the children (and staff!) had the most memorable 5 day experience. Primary school memories they will treasure forever!

    • Break the Rules Day

      Break the Rules Day was a huge hit as always! 

      It is most definitely a favourite day of the year for the children and a great way to start half term! The children were allowed to break certain rules such as wearing crazy hair, glitter, nail varnish, tattoos, silly socks and paid 50p per broken rule to to support school fundraising!

    • KS2 Cooking Competition

      The theme: Bake a Harvest Cake!

      We are SO impressed with all the fabulous, delicious cakes our little bakers made for the first round of our KS2 cooking competition.

      The brief was to make and decorate a Harvest sponge cake! The entries were fantastic. Mrs Woods and Miss Budimir judged the cakes on their taste and texture. We clearly have some fabulous bakers on our hands!

    • Great Horwood Brass Band

      A wonderful afternoon with the Great Horwood Brass Band! 

      Our very talented Mrs Taylor performed with her band playing some well known tunes such as ABBA and James Bond. The children really enjoyed it and especially loved having a dance to the music!  We also had a debut performance from one of our year 4’s. She was very brave to play a solo in front of everyone! Very impressive - well done Fawn!  Year 5 & 6 then had an opportunity to try playing some of the instruments. The band definitely inspired some budding musicians!
