We have new balance bikes at Akeley and the children are really enjoying their time on them!
Pupils across both KS1 and KS2 enjoyed a super fun workshop with Laura from Bounce Beyond. Bounce Beyond provides mobile academic high energy school bounce workshops! The children loved the disco lights, lasers and fantastic music!
Organised by our fabulous PTFA, children were invited to wear their comfies to school for the day! And the excitement didn’t stop there! Our PTFA served hot chocolate during break time too! Marshmallows, cream, sprinkles…the lot!
It also helped the weather on the day was freezing cold! So it was an extra welcomed treat!
We are so greatful and thankful to offer such fun and memorable experiences for all our pupils. We love making happy memories for each and every one of our children.
We were so excited to be part of this fantastic project with Waddesdon Manor Learning! The team joined us for a day of creativity in October to prep for their big 'Sounds of the Seasons' display which included our giant Reindeer made of materials such a plant pots...can you spot them!? We love being part of local community events!
The children enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner and loved wearing their festive jumpers for 'Save the Children' Christmas jumper day!
Our annual Pantomime trip is always such a treat and loved by pupils and staff! This year, the whole school enjoyed a trip to MK Theare to see the fabulous Goldilocks and The 3 Bears. The children's constant giggles and bright, happy faces as they watch in awe is truly so magical!
Our annual KS2 Christingle service is always a wonderful festive event. Huge thank you to Rev Cathy Pearce for hosting the Christingle. It was a joyful, candlelit celebration enjoyed by pupils, staff and parents.
