On Wednesday 25th February, we welcomed children’s author Teresa Heapy as part of our World Book Day celebrations. She engaged and inspired the children by sharing some of her stories, including a preview of a book that has not yet been published. Teresa also spoke about her experiences as an author, giving the children an insight into how she develops her ideas and transforms them into finished books. The pupils asked thoughtful questions and participated enthusiastically throughout the sessions. The visit concluded with writing workshops, where the children explored their own creativity and enjoyed putting pen to paper. It was a memorable and motivating experience.
