Week beginning 29th June

Thursday 2nd July

Hello everyone

Today would normally be swap around day where you would meet your new teacher ready for September and they would get to know you.

I have planned some activities for you to share with your new teacher, Mrs Clarke, about your favourite things and also what you enjoy at school.
I’m sure she would love to read them so send them to the office for her to see.

I have lots of planning to do today for Foundation and Year 1 so will be spending most of my day in front of the laptop keeping busy.

I hope you have a super Thursday and it will soon be the weekend!

Wednesday 1st July

Good morning Foundation Stage

We had a morning of school work yesterday followed by Some lunch and a walk with Pippa. Maisie then completed her Brownies challenge for the week which was to make some clothes for a teddy out of junk! She decided to make a raincoat, hat and wellies!
I hope you’ve enjoyed decorating your own rainbow fish and creating your own rainbow creature. Well

done to Martha on making her beautiful Rainbow Fish using ginger paints and glitter!
Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Tuesday 30th June

Hello Everyone

I hope you had a lovely Monday! Maisie and I were busy with her school work in the morning and in the afternoon we had a visit from the lovely Mrs Andrews and Miss Richardson. I have missed them lots and it was so lovely to see them. It was a bit windy in the garden but it didn’t stop us having a good catch up with tea and cake!
I hope you enjoyed the Rainbow Fish story yesterday. Have a fantastic Tuesday.

Monday 29th June

Good morning Foundation Stage

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I am feeling grateful that the weather has cooled down a bit!
This weekend Maisie and I spent most of it baking a variety of cakes ready for a cake sale she had organised for a charity she has supported this month. Maisie set herself the challenge of walking 50km in June and also wanted to do a cake sale for extra fundraising. Martha helped Maisie with the baking and the sale too. She raised over £360 in cakes alone and  over £1300 in total for Emily’s Star! I am super proud of her and her hard work!

This week is Children’s Art week so I have set lots of creative activities for you to complete in the afternoons, have fun! Our story is the Rainbow Fish  and one of my favourites.

Have a marvelous Monday!

Lots of love

Mrs Chapman xx
