Week beginning 22nd June

Thursday 25th June

Hello Foundation Stage

What a hot day it was yesterday and it looks just as hot today! Make sure you take care in the sun, one of your activities yesterday or today was all about looking after yourself in the sun! Remember what you learnt!
Yesterday Maisie and I enjoyed seeing our grandad/ Great grandad, it was so lovely to see him and catch up with him.

Maisie also made her pressed flowers in to a card for a relative who has just had an operation on her shoulder so we delivered that to cheer her up and make her smile.

This weekend we are holding a cake stall to raise some final money for a charity Maisie has been supporting this month, she set herself the challenge of walking 50 km throughout June (she has already managed 42km) and she wanted to also do a cake sale too. So on Saturday we will be busy baking ready to sell the cakes on Sunday! I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Lots of love Mrs Chapman xxx

Wednesday 24th June

Good morning all,

I hope you enjoyed the lovely sunshine yesterday, it looks set to be another glorious day today! It’s a bit too hot for me so I’ve enjoyed the shade when there’s been a breeze or I’ve kept cool inside with a fan. Maisie and I managed a 2km walk early yesterday morning before it got too hot and then spent the morning completing school work. In the afternoon she completed some craft, she painted a unicorn and pressed some flowers, and then had a Zoom call with some friends in Year 3- she loved seeing so many of her class and hearing what they have been up to! Xx

Well done to Olly who made some amazing fruit lighthouses last week, there’s a super picture on Wrigley Writes and well done to Molly on completing a unicorn run, what a super achievement and a very lovely medal!
Enjoy the sunshine again today!

Tuesday 23rd June

Hello Foundation Stage
I hope you all had a lovely Monday! I was busy helping Maisie with her school work in the morning and then we did some weeding in the garden before it got too hot!
In the afternoon we had some visitors in the garden- the lovely Mrs Saunders and her daughter Vicki. We chatted for nearly two and a half hours and ate some cake that I had baked in the morning. It was so nice to see them.

Miss Richardson and Mrs Kerins had a super first day with those children back at school. You are all doing such a good job!

Enjoy the sunshine today.

Monday 22nd June

Good morning Foundation Stage

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and that you enjoyed Father’s Day!
Some of you are back to school today, I hope you all have a super day with Mrs Kerins and Miss Richardson. I know you will have lots of fun. Those of you working from home still there are lots of sea creature activities this week!

Over the weekend I enjoyed lots of time in the garden, a Father’s Day picnic with my dad and the cot is made and in place! Maisie is very excited about our new baby and is being very helpful sorting the nursery with us.
I hope you have a lovely Monday- it looks like the sunshine is back 😊
