Week beginning 15th June

Thursday 18th June

Hello everyone,

What a busy couple of days! I have been doing lots of school work, planning and emails!

I’m hoping the rain goes away for the weekend, the gardens need it but I’m hoping to see my dad on Father’s Day and go for a picnic. I’m going to bake him his favourite ginger cake! What are you doing with your daddy on Father’s Day?

I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Wednesday 17th June

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re having a good week so far.
Some of you will be going back to school next week, make sure you watch the video of Mrs Kerins and Miss Richardson showing you your new routine and new look classroom. It is all a little bit different but that’s because we need to keep you safe and well. I know you will in great hands and will have lots of fun. Those of you who are staying at home a little longer I will still be sending you a message on here everyday and setting home learning for you to complete.
I am so proud of each and every one of you for your hard work at home, keeping safe and well, completing activities, looking after siblings and your parents! What super stars you all are!  ⭐️
Enjoy your day!

Tuesday 16th June

Good morning Foundation  Stage,

It is so lovely to see so many of you having fun at home and enjoying the learning activities I’ve set for you! Olly has been very busy! I love your snail art, your puppet theatre and well done on experimenting with objects that float and sink! Molly has been busy too with her ice cream block graph, writing tricky words and a super snail picture! It looks like Maisie has been having lots of fun, I love your seaside box and your new fluffy ‘Corny’ for you to treasure too!! Thank you all for your lovely email and photos to Mrs Wrigley and I and for all your hard work! You’re all super stars! ⭐️ Xx

I hope you enjoyed a sunny Monday! what did you get up to? After Maisie and I had finished our school work we spent a few hours with my sister yesterday which was nice. Maisie and Martha enjoyed seeing each other and I came home with lots of useful baby things that Martha’s little sister, Selma, is too big for now! Our baby’s nursery is starting to take shape! The cot has arrived so that will be a job for us this week to make it up and put it in place! There is so much to do to prepare for a new baby xx

Have a lovely Tuesday!

Monday 15th June

Hello Foundation Stage,

I hope you are all well and enjoyed the sunshine at the weekend. It was nice to have it back! What did you get up to? Xx

Maisie managed a long walk (5Km) to Turweston Aerodrome on Saturday as part of her 50km walk for charity. She definitely deserved a special biscuit treat and drink for her effort! We played in the garden in the afternoon before the thunderstorm arrived! Xx

On Sunday we went to see my best friend and her three month old baby who we have only met on FaceTime and Zoom! It was so lovely to meet them in their garden and see and catch up with them from afar. Not quite the same as actual baby cuddles but it was nice to finally meet him and see his little smiles. Have you met up with any family or friends at a distance? Xx
Wishing you all a wonderful week.

Lots of love

Mrs Chapman xxx
