Week 8

Friday 15th May

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! What a gorgeous day it turned out to be yesterday, and I think this marks the start of some lovely summery weather due to come in over the next week. I'm looking forward to spending lots of time in my garden!

Sadly, technology was not on my side again yesterday, but I managed to upload the latest Street Child installment in the evening so why don't you check out Jim's latest escapades!

I hope that you are all doing well and keeping smiling!

Have a great weekend!

Thursday 14th May

Hi everyone!

Yet again the week has whizzed by and it's already Thursday and also only one week left of this half term!! I had to check the calendar twice as I couldn't quite believe it!

I hope that you're all having a good week - I'm sure you're all trying your very best!

I had a little trouble uploading your Street Child video yesterday, so I'll try again today! We're halfway through the book now and I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next!

Look after each other won't you and I'll speak to you all tomorrow.

Wednesday 13th May

Hi everyone!

I hope that you're all going to have a "Wicked Wednesday" today! We've just been delivered Uno and Bananagrams so I'm sure we'll be enjoying a game or two of that later! I wonder what new games you have been playing? We've also got a 3D puzzle of the Eiffel Tower coming which will be fun too! I'll let you know how we get on with it!

I recorded some more of our story yesterday and will be uploading it today, so look out for that later on. It was a long couple of chapters but full of action!

I hope you all have a good one!

Tuesday 12th May

Hi everyone!

What a gorgeous start to the day! A little chilly though I think but I'm hoping with a jumper I'll be ok to sit outside and do some work today. I just love being in my garden!

Take a look at the Wrigley Writes page if you haven't already - there is a fabulous video of the decorations Ceilidh and her family made for the VE Day celebrations...I LOVED them!! You have been very busy doing all sorts of activities Ceilidh - it looks like you've been having LOTS of fun! Thank you for sending in your pictures, it made me smile to see your smiley face! Remember to send in any pictures or messages to the office if you would like to and they will get to me smiley.

I hope you all have a great day.

Speak to you tomorrow.

Monday 11th May

Hi everyone!

I hope that you all enjoyed the long weekend! The beautiful weather on Friday and Saturday certainly added to it didn't it! I wonder if any of you had any VE Day celebrations (from a safe distance of course!). The close behind our house had a socially distanced celebration and they were playing 40's music all afternoon - it was lovely!

Now to start a new week of learning from home smiley You're doing a great job so keep it up! Remember that it's important to give yourselves some time to relax and enjoy games and other activities as well as getting your school work done! Perhaps you could plan to do a school activity and then reward your hard work with a game! Try to spend some time in your gardens too if you have one - I've been noticing and appreciating so many little things around my garden.

Hope you all have a happy Monday and speak to you tomorrow.
