Week 16

Friday 10th July

Hi everyone!

What a gorgeous morning it is this morning! I love waking up to the sun streaming in the house - it just makes me smile that little bit more than normal smiley. Elly has had her morning walk and is now eating her breakfast - she must have had a really good run the way she is eating!

Well...we've reached the penultimate Friday, with only one more to go now! We've planned lots of fun activities for you next week, just like we would be doing if we were in school.

I hope that you all have a great weekend, with a return of the sunshine after all the rain we've had - our garden is loving it though!!

Speak to you on Monday.

Thursday 9th July

Hi everyone!

I can't believe that it's Thursday already - this week has just flown by for me. Only one more Thursday too until it's the holidays! I'm sure that you are all looking forward to a rest (and your teachers at home are too!). I've been sent in lots of fabulous work so well done!

I've got a webinar to attend today, which is like an online lesson. Us teachers have been doing some learning online too! smiley I'm looking forward to it as it should be really interesting - we are all still learning all of the time. After that, I'll be recording some more of Street Child for you so that we get the book finished by the end of term! We must find out what happens to Jim!

I hope that you all have a good day with your learning too, and remember to thank your teachers at home for their help!

Speak to you tomorrow!

Wednesday 8th July

Hi everyone!

I hope that you all had a good day yesterday - I got to catch up with the other teachers on a zoom call which was really nice to "see" everyone. I also spoke to Mrs James on the phone! Socialising is very different these days isn't it?!

I heard that it was World Chocolate day yesterday! I wonder what you would choose as your favourite type of chocolate. I have to say that I'm not the biggest chocolate fan, but my favourite would have to be a brand that comes in a purple wrapper...do you know which one I mean?!

Keep up the hard work...only 8 more days to go!

Speak to you tomorrow.

Tuesday 7th July

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday and I hope that you had a good day yesterday.

I spent the day working and then we went for a lovely walk in the evening with our dog Elly. It was beautiful weather and I love walking under the trees as it actually feels quite magical. It sometimes feels like we are somewhere different altogether. It's really relaxing and I find it always makes me feel happy :) I love our beautiful countryside.

Have a terrific Tuesday and I'll speak to you tomorrow.

Monday 6th July

Hi everyone!

I hope that you all had a great weekend! We were busy doing lots of sorting out around the house!

I had some fantastic artwork sent in to me last week. I hope you all enjoyed the art week as much as Anna, Benjamin and Joshua did!

Let's start with Benjamin and Joshua's artwork - they even got their mum and Ethan involved! I'm sure you'll agree that it's all brilliant!

Now, let's have a look at what Anna has been up to. She's also done some fantastic artwork, along with a creative way of learning her spellings! Why don't you have a go?

I love to see what you've been doing whilst working at home, so remember that you can always send me a message via the school office email. Keep up the good work!

I hope that you all have a great day and speak to you tomorrow.
