Weds 10th June

Good Morning Everyone smiley

How are you all this morning?  Did you have a lovely day yesterday and did you have chance to have a look at the National Geographic website?  There are some great facts on there - I especially like the facts about the rainforest. Did you know that it can take up to 10 minutes for a single raindrop to fall from the canopy (top level) of a rainforest to the forest floor?!

I had a busy day at Akeley yesterday tidying the office and getting lots of bits and pieces sorted.  It was great to see Mrs Kerins, Mrs Clarke, Miss Richardson, Mrs Parsons and Mrs Pedder who were all working like busy bees in their classrooms too! Needless to say, we chatted a lot about how much we are all missing you!

I received a lovely email from Gwen and her Mummy telling me that they were taking part in the 'One Wild Thing for June' challenge run by the Wildlife Trust.  So fay they have been walking barefoot through grass, admiring a tree, planting lavender seeds, watching some wildlife live webcams and have tried geocaching too.  Here is the link for you to sign up and start walking on the wild side too.

I hope you all have a fabulous day today.

Take care and enjoy yourself.

With all best wishes,
