Muslims follow a faith called Islam. For the past month, Muslims around the world have been taking part in Ramadan.

 

The dates of Ramadan change from year to year depending on the moon cycle. During Ramadan, Muslims don’t eat or drink during daylight hours – this is called fasting.

This coming Saturday evening marks the end of the month of Ramadan. Muslims celebrate with a festival called Eid Al-Fitr. It is the most important celebration in the Islamic calendar.
