Hello Everyone. I hope you are all well and have had a great week. Well the weather was a little damp yesterday wasn't it but I think the gardens will have really enjoyed a drink.
It was so lovely to see children back in school and Miss Richardson and I have loved hearing laughter and the groaning due to the effort they have been putting into the Joe Wicks workout . Perhaps the groans were Mrs Clarke, Mrs Parsons or Mrs George .
Throughout lockdown I have been taking my son Jake to work at Tesco in Buckingham. He has to start work at 7 am and when I am driving home I see a lot of wildlife. So far this week I've seen a deer and a green woodpecker.
Have you seen any wildlife when you've been out and about?
The foundation stage outside area has had lots of animal visitors too. Miss Richardson saw three squirrels playing on the climbing equipment. There are blackbirds, robins, pigeons and sparrows whizzing around the trees too.
I managed to take a picture of this lovely hedgehog in my garden this week. He or she has been visiting my garden for quite some time and always follows the same path round and underneath the fence. My other son Riley has named it Strawberry. About half an hour after I took this photo when it was getting dark I got up to shut the curtains and there was a bat flying around.
Perhaps you could send photographs of the wildlife you've seen or don't have a photograph maybe draw a picture and send that in. I know I would love to see them.
Have a great weekend. Take care of yourselves and stay safe. Sending lots of hugs.

Hello year two. I hope you have had a great week of home learning. Mrs Barker has been putting some brilliant activities on for you.
This week I have received a fabulous photo of Mayne's work and a lovely letter from Ramona with a set of instructions to help me plant some carrots. Thank you both it is so nice to hear from you.
I have been busy at Akeley helping get everything ready for some year one and foundation stage children to return. It was so nice to spend time with Mrs Clarke, Miss Richardson, Mrs Parsons, Mrs George and Mrs Saunders we had a lovely socially distanced catch up while working really hard to prepare the classrooms.
This weekend I hope to go for a long walk with my family before our weekly quiz night.
