Mrs Harper's Daily Diary

Friday 10th July

Good morning Year Six!

What a gorgeous morning it is too! I love waking up to the sun streaming in the house - it just makes me smile that little bit more than normal smiley.

I hope that all of you who have been in school have had a great week so far, and we've now reached the penultimate Friday, with only one more to go! We've planned lots of fun activities for you next week, just like we would be doing if we were in school.

Elly has had her morning walk and is now eating her breakfast - she must have had a really good run the way she is eating!

I hope that you all have a great weekend, with a return of the sunshine after all the rain we've had - our garden is loving it though!!

Speak to you on Monday.

Thursday 9th July

Good morning Year Six!

I can't believe that it's Thursday already - this week has just flown by for me. Only one more Thursday too until it's the holidays! I'm sure that you are all looking forward to a rest (and your teachers at home are too!).

I've got a webinar to attend today, which is like an online lesson. Us teachers have been doing some learning online too! smiley I'm looking forward to it as it should be really interesting - we are all still learning all of the time .

I hope that you all have a good day with your learning too, and remember to thank your teachers at home for their help!

Speak to you tomorrow!

Wednesday 8th July

Good morning Year Six!

I hope that you all had a good day yesterday! I got to catch up with the other teachers on a zoom call and it was really nice to "see" everyone. Socialising is so different these days isn't it!

I heard that it was World Chocolate Day yesterday so was wondering what your favourite chocolate is. I'm not the biggest chocolate fan (I prefer savoury), but if I was to choose it would be a brand that usually comes in a purple wrapper...do you know which ones I mean?

Keep up all the good work you're doing.

Only 8 days left!

Speak to you tomorrow.

Tuesday 7th July

Good morning Year Six!

I hope that you all had a good day yesterday :)

I was busy working in the daytime and then went for a lovely dog walk in what turned out to be a beautiful evening. Elly loved having a good run, she always wants to be the leader!

It's a good job really as there's no way I can keep up with her!

I hope that you all have a terrific Tuesday and I'll speak to you all tomorrow.

Monday 6th July

Good morning Year Six!

I hope that you all had a great weekend and I can't believe that we are into our penultimate week of the Summer Term! It doesn't seem possible that we break up next Friday, although I think we've all probably earned a rest by now!

We had a busy weekend doing lots of sorting out around the house and Mr Harper even gave Elly (our dog) a bath, which she didn't like very much! It was a bit windy over the weekend, so I am hoping for a return of some sunnier weather this week, as I'm sure you all will be too.

Keep being fantastic and I'll speak to you again tomorrow.
