Hello Year 2!!! How are you all? I hope you and your families are safe and well and have been enjoying all of this time together! It feels like such a long time since I last saw you! Tomorrow you will be able to find out a bi more about what I have been up to so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Well I don't know about you but I was very very excited when Mrs Pedder told me I would be teaching you all in Year 3! We will all be off on an adventure up to Chackmore together! It is going to be so much fun I promise, you will have me Monday - Thursday and Mrs Mckenzie on a Friday. We have already been chatting about all the exciting topics and activities we can do, and decided that we are going to go into school over the holidays and paint our new classroom so it is all lovely for you to start back, sadly Mrs Pedder won't allow rainbow paint.
Did you know today it is World Oceans Day? This is a day to celebrate the oceans and try to think of new ways to protect them. I have found out a few interesting ocean facts....
Rivers and lakes can form under the ocean!
Scientists believe that there could be millions more marine life forms that haven't been discovered yet!
Pacific ocean means peaceful sea
If you find out any good facts let me know!
So today in English you have a reading comprehension activity based on World Oceans Day. In Maths there is some work on the 10x table don't forget to watch the video first it is really helpful! Finally you have a poster to create all about the Oceans. I hope you enjoy it and have a super day!
Love Mrs Barker xx
