Monday 18th May

Good Morning Everyone smiley

I hope you are all well and that you've had a lovely, restful weekend?  Did you do anything fun?

We've had a lovely, old fashioned, family weekend!  We kicked off Friday evening by snuggling down together to watch one of our favourite movies.  We've filled the weekend with board games - Monopoly Millionaire, Uno, Monopoly Ultimate Banking, Cards, Yahtzee, Monopoly Empire....and a game of Trivial Pursuit which went on....and on.....and on.....and on.  I know all the Mums and Dads will feel my pain!  We played ping pong, chatted to our families, took part in the family quiz which my brother won again this week (Hurumph!),  and just enjoyed being together.  There was, of course, some decorating to do - bathroom ceilings and woodwork this week.  Our home is starting to look very neat and tidy!

On Sunday, I went for a lovely walk to Lillingstone with Roger and just enjoyed a little bit of peace and quiet.  I noticed how green and pretty the lanes are looking now.

Mrs Andrews has also been enjoying time outside and has sent me another great idea for you all.  She and Albert have made their own version of a Spirograph from a leaf in the garden.  Look how amazingly well it works.  She has sent lots of pictures so you can try making one yourself.  It looks as though it's going to be beautiful this week so you could head out and collect some different shaped leaves to experiment drawing around.  Please just remember to stay safe and to wash your hands after you've touched the leaves.

I'd love to see how you get on.  You could even use a much larger object and chalk and make a similar pattern outside on the floor.

Have fun, stay sparkly!

With all best wishes,

Mrs Wrigley heart
