Good Morning Everyone
I hope you are all well and that you had a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend. Wasn't the weather beautiful on Friday and Saturday.
We enjoyed a day in the garden on Friday - chatting, playing games, listening to music and reading. In the evening we watched the V E Day celebrations on the television and though it was great to see the pictures of the street parties in 1945. Did you have a picnic or decorate your home? I know some of our school grown ups enjoyed a picnic in their front garden and even styled their hair as it would have been done in the 1940s!
Saturday saw us decorating AGAIN!! This time Oli's bedroom was given makeover and is looking lovely now. I think Mr Wrigley will be glad to go back and work in his office - he has had to do a lot of DIY while we've been working at home!
Sunday was a games day - lots of board games and card games and even a WWE wrestling tournament (with Finn's figures, not us!!)
And today I am back in the conservatory, with Roger at my feet of course. I received this lovely letter in the post this morning which has made me smile! I've also been very busy chatting to the new families looking forward to joining us in September.
I hope you all have a lovely day today. Remember to keep letting us know how you are getting along. We'd love to see pictures of you celebrating V E Day.
Take care everyone.
With all best wishes,
