Muslims worship in a special building called a Mosque. They are often decorated in beautiful, and often complicated, patterns.
Below are some instructions and a template for re-creating one of these patterns. You will need a ruler. If you want, you can use the second block of four squares to create your own pattern made of straight lines. Remember, you’ll need to repeat it in all four boxes!
I know this week you have been learning the mathematical words we use to describe lines. Once you have finished your patterns, see if you can spot any horizontal lines, vertical lines, parallel lines and perpendicular lines.
